Protocol for the prevention and against any kind of harassment at the University of Cantabria, particularly sexual harassment, gender based harassment and any other forms of discriminatory behavior

In all types of human relationships and work and educational contexts, situations of coercion, aggression, humiliation or repeated marginalisation can occur, causing great suffering to those who suffer them and hindering their full personal development. The University of Cantabria is firmly committed to combating all forms of harassment towards a member of the university community, whether of a sexual, physical, psychological or moral nature. There are many personal or work-related circumstances that can lead to harassment. Among the most common are those that have to do with a person's sex or sexual orientation, origin, physical characteristics or beliefs, performance of work-related tasks, etc. If you are experiencing harassment at first hand or suspect that someone around you is being harassed, do not hesitate to ask for help. The University of Cantabria has established a recently updated procedure that ensures a rapid response and guarantees the privacy and rights of individuals. Our protocol also protects students on work placements in companies and institutions.
